Upon graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Sean took it upon himself to source for work experience. He eventually landed himself an internship position at The Smart Local's (TSL) news department Must Share News (MSN).
Initially working as a writer, his job scope would then be further expanded into creating additional content such as memes. His contribution to the company resulted in a 3-month extension of his contract at TSL.
Additionally, Sean's outgoing personality and efficiency in his work granted him opportunities amongst other departments in TSL.
Not only was he cast in several TVCs for clients such as the Monetary Authority of Singapore and Pizza Hut, he was also given the opportunity to host an episode for Eatbook, write for TSL Editorial, and feature in Zula's inaugural dating show, First Dates.
In that aspect, Sean's 9 months with The Smart Local saw him achieve much more beyond his initial job scope.

2017 - 2018
Under The Smart Local, Sean worked as a writer and content creator under news department Must Share News (MSN).
His job was to scope out the latest news and happenings and ensure that they're delivered to today's tech-savvy audience on a daily basis. In that position, he's written over 200 articles ranging from politics to evergreen content.

His time at MSN would also see him interviewing the likes of David Beckham and Robert Pires as well as covering events such as Asia's Got Talent.
Additionally, he was also known as the "meme guy" in TSL.
Since August 2017, he's incorporated the use of memes via Photoshop to convey news to our younger audience. This helped MSN remain relevant in today's online news industry.
